Sunsetting external access to Motif

We’re writing today with a heavy heart to announce sunsetting external access to Motif.

Our vision has been to unlock interactive exploration of user behavior through sequence analytics. Over the past three years we pushed the boundaries of what processing and visualizing sequence data can look like. However, we have seen strong headwinds as the analytics sector is going through a consolidation phase, making it hard to sustain an independent sequence analytics product.

We have learned that Motif’s approach delivers the most value to large sophisticated organizations with complex event data and strong data teams, so we have decided to take Motif’s approach and team talents to a large tech company.

We’d like to thank all our amazing users, who believed in our vision and helped shape our sequence analytics journey.

We are looking forward to sharing our learnings about building Motif in separate posts.
